It's Just a Word.

If. It's just a word.

If it wasn't, we wouldn't use it.

If it meant more, we'd feel compelled to listen.

If it was great, then we'd be able to change the past.

Why does it exist?

If can't change anything.

If doesn't provide solutions.

If is a terrible way to hope.

if I get a million dollars.

If I get a new house.

If this I get that.

If, if, if, if,

If I had a dollar for every If that I've spoken and not gotten, I'd be a millionaire.

If I was a millionaire, I wouldn't need to say If.

If isn't real.

If you read this.

I don't know.

What if?
