I can hide in my stories.

Writer: Sonja McGiboneySonja McGiboney

When the world is a storm of tears I find shelter in my stories.

I float with Dandy Dandelion.

I shoot growlers and wonder if there is any life outside the compound.

I steal from the rich girls.

I sneak doughnuts from the Simmons Library Garden Club.

I cry when it rains.

I marry a man who loves another man.

The drawing in my book comes to life.

The day has come to save my son by killing my husband.

I survive the tomato watch.

I find Mr. O'Malley's penny.

My dog becomes a cat for a day.

Grandfather has seven chances to right a wrong in the past, but watch out, it affects the future.

Then I listen to the news....I will go back to my stories now.
