Are You a Successful Author?

Successful Authors! What the hell does that mean? The answer to that question depends upon two things. 1. Where is the author in the writing journey? 2. What are the author's goals?

The answer is below!

  1. Success is writing a complete and edited manuscript.

  2. Success is producing a physical product.

  3. Success is selling a book.

  4. Success is making money.

  5. Success is starting a new book.

Too many times, authors feel they have failed. I have sat with a physical copy of my book, in my hands, and cried about not being successful. Goodness, I have been being too hard on myself. Nobody else wrote that book. I did. I wrote and produced it. I am successful.

All authors, if you have accomplished any of the items on the list above, repeat after me. "I am Successful!"
